The ECO Greenway is Rome’s popular riverfront, paved, multi-purpose trail system that runs through historic Downtown Rome connecting dining and shopping to area attractions and parks. The City of Rome and Floyd County have plans already underway to expand the greenway to connect to AdventHealthStadium and also add a leg to connect to Lindale.

      Trail History
Rome’s rivers and surrounding train tracks once served as the main thoroughfare for transportation. Each section of the trail is named for the history of the area. Interpretive signs along the trail identify historic landmarks and share Rome’s history and cultural development.
