A 300 acre city park just north of town. Sac River Mountain Bike Trails has been carefully built to use the small piece of property quite well. The trails feature shot sight lines (the trail twists and turns all over the park), some rocky and rooty areas and a few smaller rock gardens. Tubeless tires are suggested as there are many Osage Orange Trees that litter the place with large thorns. This park is the closest Mountain Biking to Springfield, MO and is often pretty busy on the weekends.
The trail system is NOT wet weather friendly and typically takes a few days to dry out after a rain.
