SaveThe Salmo Ski Hill is located just a few km south of Salmo off Highway 3. During winter it offers the best (and only) night skiing in the Kootenays. During summer it is home to a small but growing network of hiking and biking trails, constructed and maintained by the Salmo Valley Trail Society. Lots of parking and an outhouse is available below the ski hill parking area at the West Kootenay BMX track.
