SaveSalsomaggiore Terme nasce come centro termale, famoso in tutta la penisola, ma è anche punto centrale di una delle aree più battute dai rider della provincia, soprattutto tra coloro che cercano il sentiero naturale in qualsiasi forma.
Dalle ampie carraie ai singletrack scassati, l'area offre tante possibilità anche e soprattutto di facilità medio-bassa.
Spiccano i percorsi tra Monte Manulo e Tabiano, sede questo di un piccolo Bike Park, di indubbio interesse per capire come muoversi su terreni e features preparate.
Così come il facile percorso che accompagna il corso del torrente Stirone che, insieme al torrente Parola, delimitano ad ovest e a est questa ampia zona.
Più difficile è invece individuare il limite sud: qui le montagne e le colline si susseguono una dopo l'altra, sconfinando poi nelle aree di Pellegrino Parmense.
Il confine nord ingloba invece anche il pianeggiante comune di Fidenza, simbolicamente fino alla Via Emilia, così da poter includere anche i tracciati di avvicinamento alla collina, come ad esempio quelli di Santa Margherita.
