SaveThe Scratchgravel Hills are Helena's year-round riding area. Due to the well-drained geology, open slopes, and minimal snowfall, this area offers dry trails nearly every month of the year. Existing trails are a hodgepodge of old Jeep trails, mining roads, and some singletrack. When the BLM re-evaluates this area's management plan in 2017, hopefully new singletrack networks will be constructed.
