SaveShrewsbury has many 'bike paths' that don't fall under the cycle path strategy of the Shropshire Council. Many of the cycle lanes on busy roads are dangerous in that they end just as they reach the most inconvenient (for vehicles) places. These trails are ones that locals and passers through may find useful. All will be used by cyclists but some will be designated as footpaths and no comment is made on this. None of the trails will involve lifting of bikes over stiles or chained up gates.
