Biking Season: These trails are inside Silver Star Provincial Park, and share the space with the legendary Sovereign Lake cross country ski trails and snowmobiling trails. There are some shuttleable downhills here, as well as all-mountain riding.
Snow Season: From November to May, it is all about the snow. Sovereign Lake Nordic Club maintains three trail systems: an international destination for classic and skate skiing plus backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. There is another snowshoe trail system signed by BC Parks (access from P3) and a snowmobile trail system maintained by the Vernon Snowmobile Club.
Note that Nordic trails are rated mostly by the amount of climbing. Only a few trails at SLNC peek into light blue for technical difficulty.
SilverStar Mountain Resort has a nordic system that connects to this system at four locations. The two systems have separate passes and you must have a trail pass for the system you are skiing on.
