Nice system of trails with multiple trailheads. Spring Creek is access off of Dave Woods Rd. Starts at the cattle gate off the main road. Easy climb for about 1 mile then drops down into the canyon. Mostly downhill flow with some tech rock sections for about 7 miles. Steep goat path switchbacks once you climb out of the canyon that leads to a parking area. Best to shuttle this run unless you like riding on dusty gravel road for 5 miles up steady grade. Adjacent but not connected is Buzzard Gulch system. Several interlocking loops. There is a trail head off of Dave Woods Rd. Can't remember the road name but it starts with a "P" then you take a left to the TH parking lot. Mostly blue runs with some new more technical trails that have been added recently. Spring Creek is open to motorcycles. All of these trails are on BLM land, so you can get a map at the Montrose BLM office on S Townsend Ave. If you are in the area, check them out. Pretty fun.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
