      The Sugarloaf Outdoor Center is the heart of mountain biking in western Maine. It has over 50 miles of single and double track available for riders of all abilities with professional trail and volunteer trail crews expanding the network each year.

      Snowshoe
      The Sugarloaf Mountain Resort Outdoor Center is the largest and most complete Nordic center in Maine, with 105 km of xc ski trails groomed with double tracks and lanes for skating. Most of the trails are well suited for beginners and intermediates. The center also has a lighted Olympic-sized outdoor skating rink and a 6,000-square-foot lodge with a giant fireplace, a south-facing deck, and food and drink at the Klister Kitchen, a locals’ favorite. Group and private lessons are available, as are equipment rentals.

      The Sugarloaf Mountain Resort Outdoor Center, which is home to the Resort's extensive non-alpine trail network for summer mountain bike, hike and trail run, and winter nordic ski, snow shoe and winter fat bike trails, is located off Rte. 27, south of the resort access road. Three trails reach it from the resort’s lodging facilities and the village area.

      The outdoor Center has a large, sun splashed full service lodge with equipment rental and facilities for training and lessons.
