SaveThis unique park is on privately owned land that is open to the public. Situated 10 minutes out of town in the Papamoa Hills, Summerhill Recreational Farm is a working sheep, cattle and forestry farm. Trails have been developed for both mountain bikers and walkers. Many of the trails are shared use and it is well marked. Summerhill Trails includes a mixture of native forest, rolling farmland, swooping singletrack and a purpose-built skills area with Jr XC Race Loop, dirt jumps and structures. Trails are suitable for everyone from the first-time mountain biker to experienced riders. Please follow the trails in the correct direction as indicated and respect all other users. It is important to close all gates securely behind you. Summerhill Trails is an on-going work-in progress with huge potential. The trails are built and maintained by local mountain-bikers and volunteers with regular working bees. A gold coin donation is requested with all funds going back into maintaining the trails.
