SaveSwan Trails, named for Rick Swan, are designed on 100s of acres including the shores of a beautiful Maine pond. Weather you are a novice or expert you can find trails to challenge your ability. There are beautiful views along the 3/4 mile trail that runs along the waters edge .Dogs are welcome, there is a lot of wild life in the area. Moose, porkipine, deer, pheasant, rabbits and many others are common. Swans Trails have rocks and roots and dry quickly after rains.
Rick Swan was an extrodinary athlete and trail builder, most of the areas around Orono, Old Town and Bangor Maine he help build and design. The trails at Swans were designed and built by Rick. This trail system exhibits his understanding of nature and his respect for the environment. Here at Swans Trails Rick has left his mark in central Maine leaving an extraordinary trail system for all to enjoy.
