      Welcome to Thunder Mountain Bike Park, New England’s fastest growing bike park. Thunder Mountain Bike Park provides a progression bike trail system to take the first time downhill mountain bike rider and convert them for life.

      This guide includes some useful safety and guide information for experts and the first time rider alike.
      For the first time rider, the marketing of downhill mountain biking can be intimidating, with all of the gear, jumps, dirt and aggressive imagery, but at Thunder Mountain Bike Park we have partnered with some of the best trail builders in the world to bring you a progression park where you can fall in love with this wonderful sport.

      Our team friendly team trail staff, guides, and operators will help give you a wonderful intro to the sport.

      In the winter, this mountain changes names to Berkshire East Mountain Resort, and offers the best downhill skiing in Massachusetts. Winter map features will be gradually added to Trail Forks.

      Access Info:
      Tickets may be purchased in our Main Lodge at Customer Service or the outside Ticket Window on weekends. All bikers must sign a waiver prior to receiving their ticket. Bike rentals and our bike shop are located on the main floor of the main lodge. After filling out your waiver, your can get your tickets, bike rentals and gear rentals directly from the rental department. If you have your own equipment, you’ll just need to sign the waiver, buy your lift ticket and head to the lift.
