Trapp Family Lodge starts developing mountain bike trails on the 2500 acre property.

One of the best ways to explore the Vermont countryside is to get out and ride! Trapp Family Lodge is the central hub for mountain biking in the area, with 13 miles of well-built, dedicated mountain biking trails available, and even more to be completed in the next few years. We offer high-quality bike rentals through Giant Bicycles as well as repair services and riding lessons.

Our mountain bike trails will be open from May 7 until around November 1. We have 1 mile of intermediate single-track trail, more than 5 miles of intermediate/expert single-track trails, and 20 miles of beginner to advanced double-track trails that spread all over our beautiful property. Our progression of trails is perfect for first-timers or anyone looking to develop skills and confidence gradually.

In addition to our dedicated trails, we offer mountain biking skill lessons, guided trips on and off property, and a rental fleet of 40 bikes, from children's cruisers to full suspension bikes. In addition to our private trails, there are over 50 miles of trails within minutes of our resort. Trail Passes are available for day guests for $10.00 per day. Register at the Outdoor Center for your pass.
