A nineteen acre, heavily wooded area with a centrally located swamp and intermittent stream. It was purchased in 1977 to allow for storm and flood water runoff for surrounding urban areas. The escarpment adjoins Hanna Park, a local nature park that is also the location of the cities dog park. The escarpment sees less traffic than the city maintained trails within Hanna Park, but don't be surprised to run into a dog walker deep within the escarpment. In the early spring it is impossible to access the Escarpment from the 2nd Dug Hill Rd. entrance do to flooding.

Also included in this riding area are the trails on the backside of Mount Pelion. A high feature on Trenton's west side.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
      eBikes Allowed: No
      Access Info:
Located within the City of Quinte West (Trenton) adjacent to Hanna Park. Access points on Loyalist Parkway behind Canada Blast Freezers, and off of 2nd Dug Hill Rd. near the duck pond.
