SaveUenuku Pines in Waikune Forest at the base of Mt Ruapehu is a series of mountain bike trails created and maintained by local volunteers, and managed by the Ruapehu MTB Club. A club membership or a permit from NZFM is required to enter Waikune Forest. The trails range from grade 2 to 6.
