Husk sikkerhetsutstyr

CK Valdres and Valdres Storhall have developed the cycling offer in Leira in recent years.
As of today, both the Pumptrack, a shorter off-road trail in the forest between the great hall and Leirali (Fururunden) has been realised. In 2019, we had the pleasure of opening the Ramperund, a mountain bike path of approx. 1.5 km (red trail on the map). The trail starts at the main hall, in the direction of the primary school/Leirali, then the path winds down into the forest along the Fløafjordvegen. The trail ends in a climb up towards the great hall again on the south side of the hall. The path was built in approx. 1 meter wide and suitable for slightly more experienced cyclists.
The forest by the Fløafjord otherwise offers countless paths and tracks, the paths can be found on Strava and similar map applications, maps can and are obtained in Valdres Storhall.
In BUA Valdres (located in Valdres Storhall) it is possible to borrow/rent bicycles. It is free to borrow bicycles for children and young people from Valdres. While others have to rent for a symbolic sum (all income goes to the operation of BUA Valdres).
See www.valdresstorhall.no for more information about BUA Valdres' opening hours.
The pump track and cycle tracks are open to everyone and free to use, but you do so at your own risk. Remember safety equipment!
