Its main emphasis will be to get people from the communities surrounding Florenceville-Bristol, Centreville, Bath, Woodstock and Perth-Andover to embrace a lifestyle of outdoor fitness and to attract outdoor enthusiasts from beyond the Florenceville-Bristol area to enjoy those same activities.
The Valley Outdoor Centre will concentrate on the sports of Nordic skiing and snowshoeing during the winter months and mountain biking, walking/hiking, and trailrunning throughout the spring/summer/fall.
