Whiskey Creek OHV Rec-Site Dirtbiking Trails

Whiskey Creek riding area is maintained by VIDRA and BCORMA and features at least 28-30 km of tight single track, a variety of roots, granular hills with fast and slower sections. This area is home to the annual 'Roots of Doom' hare scramble which is part of the Vancouver Island Hare Scramble Series (VIHSS).

There are lots of trails at Whiskey Creek for riders, with very minimal actual altitude change, but with an assortment of up-and-down hills through the valley.

Whiskey Creek is open all year long, with its lower altitudes the riding area has very minimal snow fall through out winter season which makes it a great place to ride when most other areas are at a higher elevation and have too much snow.

Note about the pit --

Please note that the Pit area of Whiskey Creek is off-limits for riding. Please respect this boundary set by our neighbours (and the Ministry) by ensuring that you're riding only in the designated riding area. This way we'll all be able to continue riding at Whiskey Creek for a long time to come.

Peak riding times through out the year:

- Late September to late November = Epic

- Late March to mid May. = Perfect Traction.

-December to mid march = can be wet.

-June to September = fairly dry and loose.

Come and enjoy our Whiskey Creek riding area in Qualicum B.C. We are always building new and interesting trails and maintaining the rest to make everyone's ride a very enjoyable experience. This riding area was started by a few dirt bike enthusiasts that love to do what you all love to do, ride!! We love to have fun, and love having a great time with a bunch of great friends.
