The Wild Mersey trail network has been created in a joint venture between the Latrobe and Kentish councils and with the support of the Cradle Coast Mountain Bike Club.

The trails connect the towns of Latrobe, Railton and Sheffield. Each town has a trailhead with toilet and bike wash facilities with Railton and Latrobe also having showers. The network has over 100km of trail ranging from easy green rated trail to more extreme black and double black diamond. It features stunning views from several lookouts over Sheffield and Mt Roland and to the east and western countryside, a beautiful riverside trail and so many options to choose from.
