SaveThe Wilder trail system was built and maintained by MTB volunteers in partnership with local land owners. This trail system is a 'work in progress' and is getting better each year.
Trails are typical coastal-style riding with lots of roots and natural features that are fun to ride and offer a challenge.
There is one flow-style trail with berms & jumps called Social D. You will want to ride this trail a couple of times.
Wilder has an XC flavor thanks to the technical riding and having multiple sections of trails that are connected by forest roads.
CAMPING - South Beach State Park, OR
You can ride directly to Wilder trails from the campground by crossing HWY 101 and ride up SE 50th Ave to access one of two trails. -Personal preference is using Avery and Leprechaun trails to get into where the good MTB trails are and to avoid the disc golf area.
If you enjoy riding Wilder make sure to volunteer and donate to NEWTS who continue to make the trail improvements.
