Wilson Creek features historic singletrack full of technical challenge, jumps and high speed double track, creeks, boulders, gravel road grinds, are all set in the remote backwoods of Pisgah National Forest's Grandfather District. Be prepared to be self sufficient here. You are unlikely to encounter any people. Bring plenty of water, food, tubes, spare parts, a map, and a positive attitude as this ride has a history of hurting people's feelings with lost of grunt climbing. Unlike other regions in Pisgah, this route has only a few signs and wrong turns are plentiful.
