The Wine Lands Cycling Club's Lyngrove Ride Area consists mainly of vineyard farm roads and covers the "middle ground" of the club's western routes. Trails in this ride area are uni- and multi directional, please follow the map and trail arrows. Just beyond the cell tower, direction Somerbosch, is a very good view point with unobstructed views towards the Helderberg and Stellenbosch. It is a family friendly set of trails, providing good distance at a fast pace on gravel roads. Probably the best gravel bike riding area of the Wannabees trails. The terrain is rolling hills and a equal mix of ups and downs breaks any hint of monotony. The Up and Under loop near the waterworks provides an interesting interlude from the gravel travel.

Trial access is a privilege generously allowed by valued property owners - we don't pay for access. Please treat property owners and their employees with respect. Remain strictly on the marked and mapped trails only. Day-time riding only. If you need a bike light, you shouldn't be on the trails. Violators will lose access. The ride area is on a working farm and farm vehicles have right of way at all times.

Alternatively there is a third trailhead at the Waterstone Village Mall in Somerset West, from where the entire network can also be accessed.
      Disclaimer:
Please note that the MTB trails are marshalled. Only riders with valid, displayed bike boards or day permits can use the club's trails.
