First 8km are overgrown but still rideable. At the first trail junction (Higgins Creek), trail climbs and becomes seriously overgrown, wet, mossy and becomes more of a hike a bike up until the alpine is reached. Trail almost disapears near the old mine site.
It was definitely too early to ride this in the alpine, as the downhill sections of the trail were still covered in snow patches and could not get any good flow.
The views were amazing, I could see this trail being fun later in the summer!
I would recommend riding in from the Cabin side and stopping before the mega downhill out of the alpine, at least until the lower trail is cleared!
