- Trail Running Reporter Primary Activity
Trail maintenance and check. Vegetation cleared off the trail surface. Old, decommissioned section of trail checked from a report to Council. It has been cleared a bit by someone and sections are obviously used. Then is obviously closed from large trees down. May need to shift a walking trail sign to make sure it doesn't point down to the decommissioned area.
Work to do:
1. handrail has fallen off at the stairs near the Blue/Green carpark. Wood is there, just needs to be screwed back on.
2. Small tree has fallen across the path down to the lake near the Blue/Green carpark. Just crosses the path a bit. Tried to move it but needs to be cut.
3. hole forming in the path where dogs have run down to the lake. It is putting a large gap in the path. This is near the start of the trail (near Feeder).
