3 of us spent 3 days clearing the first 3km of the trail of 217 trees over the June 10-12 weekend. Very heavy blow down this year, I'd expect the next 4km to the cowboy camp to be similar, but maybe slightly less as there are more meadows. Don't attempt unless you have a saw and are prepared for the very slow progress. The horse/steeper route has not been cleared yet, 8 trees down on it.
