This is a fantastic park with many lake activities and easy to difficult hiking trails. Most of the time they are well maintained. Sometimes after strong windstorms there are downed trees across the trails but they chainsaw them within a few days. The trails are numerous, and intersecting so you can create your own combination of trails to hike and just keep going as long as your stamina holds out. There are some really challenging trails where you'll have to climb up inclines of rocks using hands too, but that's the trail leading to the overlook.
