This portion of the trail is mostly dry with occasional snow patches that will likely be melted in the next few days. There is a significant amount of logs and debris dragged onto the trail by walkers/hikers to dissuade quads and dirt bikes from using the trail. You can usually pick your way through gaps or around the sides on a mountain bike.
