You go up from the paved road that leads to loc. Pian di Gembro, where you can enjoy the beautiful view, continue towards Trivigno until you reach the dirt military road.
the maximum gradient does not exceed 12%.
After Trivigno, continue to the Baite Salena pass on the paved road, from here you descend towards Doverio (a hamlet of Corteno Golgi), a descend steep (slopes of 15-20%) but very beautiful and panoramic.
Before reaching the town, at a bend to the left, leave the paved road to take a dirt road that leads to the locality of Prena. But be careful, the climb is not over
You will have to overcome about 250 m in altitude, a stretch of the route characterized by continuous ups and downs.
For the less trained, the recommended choice for this route is to use an e-bike.
It is also possible to follow the itinerary in the opposite direction.
