Inicias la ruta en descenso desde las casas del Mas de Antón. El sendero al inicio se presenta roto y pedregoso, pero a medida que desciende te permite zigzaguear junto al barranco de forma más fluida hasta llegar a la Gorriza. Allí, tras cruzar un pequeño riachuelo, apretas en un repecho muy técnico. En el tramo final y con fuerte pendiente, llegas a Los Ibañez, una pintoresca pedanía. Cruzas la carretera y asciendes por sendero junto al río Mijares hasta Olba.
Desde allí un retorno con fuertes rampas por asfalto, y luego por pista y sendero, te asciende en busca del inicio en Fuentes de Rubielos situada a casi 1000 m de altura.

COSAS QUE DEBES SABER:
* La ruta es transitada por senderistas que recorren un sendero local en su primer tramo, cuidado con las curvas ciegas.
* Si combinas esta ruta con la de Peñarroya, puedes descender desde cota 1240 m hasta 625 m, el mayor descenso de todo Enduroland Mtb. Eso sí, siempre hay algún repecho para “descansar de bajar”.
* No debes ni beber, ni bañarte en el arroyo de La Gorriza, una parte de esa agua proviene de la antigua depuradora de Fuentes de Rubielos.
* Al inicio del descenso en el barranco hacia Los Ibañez, hay una curva no ciclable con un gran escalón, se cayó el muro ya hace años.
* En primavera y verano te puedes refrescar en el río Mijares antes de subir de nuevo hacia Olba y Rubielos.
* La mitad del retorno se hace por pista y sendero, pero para acortar se puede hacer todo por carretera, aunque no es ni tan bonito ni tan divertido.
