This route leaves from the Lake Imaging Parking Lot and heads out the double track climb up Lake Imaging Road, which is not always easy At the intersection of Locust and Hilltop follow the Right to ride all of Hilltop with nicely crafted singletrack and awesome forest views. Twisty and swoopy, Hilltop spits you out on Buck forest road (veer Left at the end of single track) There is an option to go right and hike down to Grassy Creek Falls if you'd like.
Once you descend a small section of Buck Forest Road go Left and climb up past the Isaac Heath and Jim Branch trails that will be on your left. Take the next left up White Pine and stay on this past Hooker Creek until you take the next Left on Hickory Mountain Road. Stay straight on this until it bends Left and opens to a small clearing past a hut on your right. This is where you will turn Left again and keep on until you reach the top of the Ridgeline descent!
This is an amazing flowy trail that seems to go on forever. Watch some of the corners as they come up quick! Be sure to take a right at the bottom to reach the Lake Imaging Parking Lot.
