High Point
100 mile route leaving from Cottonwood using sections of the Great Western Trail Overland Route, a short section of the Black Canyon Trail and FR 439 down to Cottonwood.
The first 20 miles or so through Cottonwood out to Camp Verde are not that great and I would only recommend it during the weekday as some of that route is through a OHV area with lots of dirt bike traffic.
The rest of the route is pretty awesome.
