Nothing too technical on this loop but very scenic and a good deal of climbing - especially the first few miles. The black diamonds themselves are not dangerous but the climb is long with few steep sections and the descent is riddled with loose gravel/granite but not very steep. After descent, take Rattlesnake north to pond and then return via Pillar to Pond.

Clean and mostly dry (only a few very small mud spots in the usual locations) reporter

Heavy (salvage) logging on private land northeast of the lower junction with Outer Limits, the trail path has been cleared but it can be difficult to see where it goes back into the woods at times, be careful that you're on the right path. Overall the trail is still in great reporter
