20 miles of madness is a 18 mile less popular intermediate route located near Malibu California. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 14 trails. This route climbs 1,906 ft with a max elevation of 1,219 ft then descends -1,905 ft.

Trail Guadalasca
Fantastic views but this trail is very rough on a hardtail. There’s lots of rocks and you have to pick your lines carefully if you want a smooth ride.

I prefer heading down Backbone instead as that has more jumps and flow and is less rocky, with a nice water crossing at the end.

Trail Guadalasca
Be careful on the south side of Guadalasca just before it connects with Hell Hill, there is a washed out portion of the trail on the left side hidden behind a bush. Keep to the right (up hill side) of the trail for that spot.
