This venue hosted the 2010 High School State Championships on Saturday, and this race on Sunday. The race start was about half way along the Loma Rica Race Starting Climb trail. You started out on the flat then turned right and went straight uphill. You then followed this loop until you got back onto the Loma Rica Race Starting Climb trail. On race day there was an additional 1/2 mile or so that went through the fields and by the buildings southwest of this loop, but that route is now overgrown.

Someone cleared a whole lot of trees! Thank you. I only rode the switchbacks to the top, as a out and back. I didn't ride the steep fire road part
