Trail BX Creek
A little wet at the entry today, otherwise the entire trail - and all (open) lower Silver Star XC trails are in pristine shape.

This area has been logged! The trail is clear except for about 3 or 4 downed trees from logging. Big puddle and snow at the start by the pond. Clear of snow after that. But quite disturbed by logging.

Trail Super Star
The description doesn't mention the trail has lots of easy jumps that are a better size for learning than the harder blue flow trails. Great place to start for intermediate riders and you'll be ready for Jedi and maybe even Rockstar later in the day.

The pinch climbs of this trail really hurt after a day in the bike park, but that’s when I’ve ridden it. Call it training!! It’s a bit of fun regardless.

Trail BX Creek
BX Creek down with Chakra return is a great loop. Finding the trailhead for these trails is the hard part. Head to Tubetown and you will pick up the signs to BX Creek and Meadow.

Trail Snake Pit
Swished SnakePit last week on an XC rig and found it to be pretty sweet and in good condition for the top 2/3 but pretty chunky and distracting along the bottom 1/3 or so.
Still, pretty nice ride and suggestive of what a pre-ride of 'Beowulf' offers. Can't wait for that longish trail to be looped. Kudos to SS trail boys on the intelligent use of grade. Will be a challenge once you begin the descent from Alder Point.
