2016 IES Eagle Enduro (Pro / Expert / Sport)
The first race of the 2016 Idaho Enduro Series kicks off at the Eagle Bike Park. The race course will consist of 6 timed stages featuring close to 2000ft of climbing over approximately 14 miles.
It is the riders responsibility to know the course and the transition stage. ALL CLIMBING will take place on the "IES Transition Trail" which consists of the far EBP boundary through the parking lots and against the road at the end of Stormin Mormon As seen in YELLOW on the map. Riders will then climb up Twisted Sister / D's Chaos to the normal "Landing" at the intersection of Stormin Mormon, Flow, and Shake n' Bake trails.
PLEASE DONT FORGET YOUR $20 TIMING CHIP DEPOSIT
***Please take caution on stage 2 Riders will proceed down Stormin Mormon to the second drop. Riders will veer left of the second drop, circling under the drop and continue on D's Chaos. This is a VERY sharp turn and riders should expect to come to a near stop or put a foot down to avoid colliding with the drop itself on the far side of the trail.
Stage 1: Pork Soda (Shake n' Bake + lower Junk Yard)
Description - The longest stage of the race right off the bat! Shake n' Bake is an expert level trail with all the features that riders love. Banked corners, jumps, rock gardens, and even a ladder section! The top part of the trail is very fast and riders should be on their toes. At the bottom of Shake n'bake, riders will cross the road (using caution on the rocks) and hammer out a very pedally section on lower Junk Yard. Be prepared for a short, punchy climb in the middle! The timing station will be at the end of the typical "Pork Soda" Strava segment finish. This is the last corner towards the road before the final uphill section.
Stage 2: Stormin Mormon > D's Chaos > Twisted Sister > Low Rider
Description - Riders will proceed down the top half of Stormin Mormon ONLY. All riders will then cut left of the second drop on stormin mormon, circling around and under the feature *** and continue to a very pedally section of the segment. Hammer the pedals and follow the logical route downhill. All major intersections will be marked. How fast can you take the corners!?
Stage 3: Stormin Mormon
Description - An expert level downhill trail featuring all optional drops and jumps. All features are rollable (with the exception of the 1 obvious double)! Rally those berms and grab some airtime! Stormin Mormon from top to bottom!

Enjoy the jumps and berms on the last part of the segment!
