2016 SORBA Huntsville Thursday Time Trial Series
Course 4: 6/24 & 7/28 North Plateau & Family
From the pavilion by the park office, start towards the overlook-->immediately past the old pay station, slight left onto N. Plateau-->continue on N. Plat to just before park entrance-->L. onto Fire Tower, follow all the way around the Frisbee golf course-->cross the main park road (Nolan) and continue on Fire Tower-->L. on Bog Trail-->L. on Family Bike Trail-->exit FBT and proceed down “cabin road”-->at the end of road, hard Left onto N. Plat and finish at the pavilion

Elites: Start on North Plateau (it will also be the finish)-->do the short stretch of N. Plat turning right on cabin road-->turn left immediately past the entrance to bikers parking lot and head towards entrance to Sinks trail at the back of bikers parking lot-->descend sinks and turn right onto Goat Trail-->Goat all the way up to Mtn. Mist-->up Mist to Family Bike trail-->Family Bike trail to Bog-->at Bog turn hard right onto gravel road and then left onto South Plateau-->cross road and continue on S. Plat-->rejoin course at the end of Family Bike Trail-->cabin road-->N. Plat and finish at pavilion

Detailed Description
2016 SORBA HSV TTT #4 North Plat and Family Trail is a 4 mile intermediate race route located near Huntsville Alabama. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 13 trails. This route climbs 140 ft with a max elevation of 1,623 ft then descends -152 ft.
