Trail Equestrian Traverse
Quite mucky after recent rains (June, 2022). Best stay off until dries out a bit. Great flowy green trail otherwise.

Extra fun in the winter... instead of trail erosion issues, you get to ride over river ice on the edge!

I think this is a pretty cool, underrated trail. Do Raven first in to this and it’s a great ride. Lots of techy climbs and descents akin to rock gardens... without the rocks. Very unique arid terrain you won’t see much of in Edmonton. Definitely susceptible to rain though. Essentially becomes mud flats until it dries out.

This trail hooks up great with Raven. It is a truly unique trail and I would recommend. Very different terrain for Edmonton

July 20-21, 2019 • The Edmonton World Triathlon (ITU) will be taking place this weekend and will affect access to this and other trails.
Due to the poor trail conditions we hope that you stay of the singletrack until it dries. However if you ride, please avoid this area until after the weekend. ITU signage will be posted in the area.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Bring an extra set of lungs. Hell of a great trail that will whip you into good shape if you ride it lots.

This trail does not exist any longer. Frickin downed trees everywhere. I think the rich people that actually live on top at the Saskatchewan Drive likely cut those trees and branches on purpose to block people from riding down or up that hill. Machete is way better anyway.

Why are so many of Edmonton trails photos flooded with selfies and bike pics from boyblue(Alain)?

With the internet the narcissist cream rises to the top. It's too bad because other people's content gets pushed off of the page

It sucks to have so many pictures that are useless to actually showing the trail.. Unfortunately it would be a huge pain to have mods remove them all one by one.

Tree down near exit, it’s right at head height. Careful.

Ride west to east for fun, east to west for a grind fest

One of my favorites in our neck of the woods. Take the east section back up for a real challenge.

I think this is one of the most fun trails in the city, even though it goes by pretty quickly. Lotsa speed, fun drops, just great.

agree, if you haven't been to Wally, Pot Luck, Pogey, Hippie Chicken by Strathcona Science Park, check it out, almost same concept, drops, berms and wall ride too.

Yeah, I hit those way more often, they're a lot of fun. I rarely get to the Fox Drive area just because it's kinda out of the way for us.
