I'm certainly NOT saying mark it a blue. Im saying mark it accordingly.

It should be a black or at most a double black "for the area" (IMO).
I didn't come here to argue with anyone just give my opinion on the trail ratings.
Yes marking it a blue would not be a good idea. Haole is a different story. Upper Haole is one of my favourite sections in the park, and in my opinion is and should be a blue rated jump line or single black at most. And that doesn't mean no more assessment, so it won't change who actually gets to ride the trail. They would just be more accurate in the trail rating (IMO).
At the end of the day, I hope everyone just enjoys riding bikes!
Again I didn't come here to argue with anyone or start a fight. Cheers and happy trails

But really it's a Single Black jump line by BC standards (which is how everything is meant to be graded, to keep it consistent and not get people hurt). That's why there are trail ratings in the first place. If they're all graded differently wherever you go, it defeats the purpose of the grading system. If you're used to riding a "Double Black" or "Pro Line" at BMBP, and then go to the North Shore, Whistler, Sun Peaks or anywhere else in BC, QC, TN, AB, CA, CO, VT, NH, NY, etc., and hop on a double black or pro line. You will be in for a rude awakening, and will most likely get seriously injured. This is a big reason why trails need to be rated accordingly. This is a Single Black by BC and most other bike park standards (some may even give it a high blue rating).
"Pro Line" is a joke, and it will get people hurt riding a real pro line. This is no where near a double black, let alone a pro line. Get it together BMBP..

Each individual area rates its own trails based on the other trails in that region. BMBP who are active admins and manage their content on Trailforks can rate the trail anyway they want.
In the end, I would believe there are reasons behind BP's rating their trails a certain way, its not like they pick a rating out of a hat. They rate the trails based on the trails in their network. You can not compare trails in this network to Whistler bike park, you are not comparing Apples to Apples.

My point is, grading all local trails incorrect is a bad stance... ... For example: If everyone in the area decided to grade doubles blacks as greens or blues, would it make sense if everyone in the area is doing so? Some of the trail ratings are way out of whack. And can result in injuries when rider's venture to other bike parks and trail networks. Cheers Mark

IMO BMBP has rated the trails fairly when comparing them to other trails in the region or the park.
Trail ratings are so subjective anyway. What you consider an easy trail maybe a really hard trail to others. The ratings are a general gauge, in the end, BMBP wants people to know that H20 is the hardest trail in the park compared to the other trails.
