The final Fiver of 2017. Presented by Steed Cycles.

New addition to the Fiver will be a Social Ride and Kids Ride. If you don't want to race, come on out and join for a ride.

Sing in for the Fiver will open at 10am to 11am at the Parking lot on Fromme.

Social Ride and Kids Ride will sign in at 10:45 in the Parking Lot on Fromme.

All Fiver and Social Riders need to be NSMBA members. Kids will not need to be member, but hopefully parents already are. Waiver will need to be signed for all Social and Kid's riders.

Social Ride is $5 same as the Fiver and gets you access to the apres at Steed.

Stage 1) Crinkum Crankum - Kirkford - Cedar Trail - Upper Griffen

Transition climb Mtn Hwy up to 6th Switchback

Stage 2) Executioner - Ramble On

Transition climb D'yer Maker to Mtn Hwy, descend to Lower Oil Can

Stage 3) Lower Oilcan - BP - Lower Crippler - Breamer Trail

A word of caution Lower Crippler has some challenging bits on it, please ride within your limits. A pre-ride is a good idea if it's been some time since you last rode Lower Crippler.

Social Ride will be 7th - Expresso - Lower Expresso

Kids Ride will be Roadside Attraction and Bobsled.

2017 FWS - 9 Presented by Steed Cycles is a 9 mile expert race route located near North Vancouver British Columbia. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction. This route includes 60 trails. This route climbs 2,338 ft with a max elevation of 2,323 ft then descends -2,529 ft.

Snow until the step down, pretty sloppy up top but tires are getting through to dirt. I opened up another re-route about half way down. It’s not totally finished, but it’s open enough to ride.

Replaced broken slats on second bridge east of lower Ladies - stringers have some surface rot but lots of solid wood at the core - much better than I was expecting :) reporter
