Did this downhill not the climb. Good little ride. Well maintained and pretty easy. A couple fun sections.

Trail Fisherman's
Not very well maintained. Some trees down. Decent views, but not completely with it. Very thin sections and some dangerous drop offs. Meh…

This is a super mellow trail that is nearly flat, except the dam end, which is an easy switchback grade. The trail used to be a water flume, so it’s real consistent in grade. The majority of the ride by the dam is in shade, which is nice.

I think the elevation numbers for this trail are wrong. At almost 1800' in under 9 miles it would be a Cat 2 climb, which definitely doesn't feel "fairly flat". Thinking about riding up there this fall with a kid, but if those numbers are correct it is not kid friendly.

No obstacles, pretty dry very dusty. Expect lots of rocks cropping out in the middle of the trail. It does get bumpy at points. Starting from Shasta Dam it's a fairly easy ride.
