Round 2 & 6: RuMAD (officially Bankhead Trail)
We will begin in the biker's parking lot at MSSP. We will ride down closed road as a group, first
stopping at the lower barricade at the hairpin. Once we get everyone around the barricade, we will
continue done Bankhead as group and turn Rt. into the dirt lot across from the LT parking lot. PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION AND TAKE YOUR TIME. THIS IS NOT PART OF THE RACE! SO TAKE IT SLOW!!

Elites, continue down Bankhead, take a right on Oak Park and proceed to the LT Oak Park Trail
Head. Elites will begin first at the Oak Park Trail Head -> Climb Oak Park Trail -> Lt. on Bankhead Trail -> finish at the end of Bankhead Trail.

Once the last elite rider has started, the timer will drive over and begin the regular categories. Reg.
cat's, climb all of Bankhead Trail finishing at the exit.

Cool down by climbing back up closed road to the sponsor midway!

2017 SORBA Huntsville Elites TT# 2 & 6: RuMAD (officially Bankhead Trail) is a 2 mile intermediate race route located near Huntsville Alabama. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 619 ft with a max elevation of 1,324 ft then descends -21 ft.
