Sport racers leave the main venue via the connector trail and cross the road to NW Timber. At Master Link take a left and climb Mater Link. Cross the road and continue on Quick Link. At the top of Quick Link turn right and you will be at the start of NOTG (Stage 3). Stage 3 will end just before the Tiger Crossover Road. This will be your chance to get some refreshments at the aid station. Then continue up the road to the Summit. At the top you will descend the Summit Trail (stage 5). The stage will end just before the trail turns into the Preston Trail. Continue on Preston until you reach the Bail Out Junction. This is where Stage 6 (Lower Preston) will start. Race down Lower Preston and the stage will end just before the Tiger Crossover Road. At the road turn right and it's a short pedal to Silent Swamp. Turn left on Silent Swamp and follow it to Joyride (Stage 7). Stage 7 will end just before NW Timber. when you pop out on NW Timber continue on it back to the main venue.

A bit wet and muddy in a few places but a blast nonetheless.

My route was Master Link --> Quick Link --> NOTG --> Crossover Rd --> Bail Out --> Preston RR --> Extra Terrestrial --> back to Crossover Rd --> Predator.
If you're on these trails in the next few days/weeks and see it, shoot me a text at 802-299-9433 and I'll buy you a beer or six. Cheers fellas!!

Overall, NTT is rated Green, but it still has a few sections that will challenge novice riders. I've yet to see anyone successfully ride the big root ball in the uphill (East) direction. And same root ball in the downhill (West) direction back to parking lot is definitely a Blue trail feature. Roll it or drop it, and don't look down to your left! Also, the rock garden near the West end of the trail is more challenging riding uphill (heading West).

Overall experience, didn't like NW Timber very much. Almost no descent/downhill sections. A lot of climbing, including very steep sections that pop of nowhere (eg. right after a rocky/rooty patch).
