2018 Sun Valley Enduro

Welcome to the 3rd stop of the 2018 Idaho Enduro Series We are proud to be partnering with the world class Sun Valley Resort to showcase some of the best lift served mountain biking in the state of Idaho. After a tough first two stops in the series, we are happy to present riders with long race stages and minimal climbing! However, don't think for a second the stages will be easy!

Transfer 1 - Lift to top of Bald Mountain, riders will transfer down the Broadway trail.

Stage 1 - Upper Warm Springs Trail - a perfect warm up for the days events! A backcountry trail feel right on the back of the resort. Plenty of flow and high speed sections to get the blood pumping!

Transfer 2 - Riders will quickly transfer up the climb to the start of Stage 2.

Stage 2 - Warm Springs Trail - more flow to be found here! There are a few pedally sections towards the start of the stage, but it is all downhill after that. This will be the longest stage of the day and a real hand burner! The stage will begin with old burn areas before dropping riders through mature trees towards the bottom of the mountain.

Transfer 3 - Riders will proceed from the Warm Springs lodge back to race HQ at the River Run lodge. Riders will transfer on the Wood River bike path. Please ensure you know your way back to the River Run lodge. Riders will then board the Roundhouse and Christmas lifts to the top of Bald Mountain.

Stage 3 - Broadway > Lupine - Another flat out stage! The name of the game is speed on this one. Lupine features some very fun rollers with plenty of flow, how fast are you willing to go!?

Transfer 4 - Riders will transfer down the cat track road past the Christmas chairlift.

Stage 4 - Mindbender - Bald Mountain's newest freeride trail, Mindbender boasts the biggest jumps in the entire valley. Enjoy the scenic views and flowing berms all day, but pay attention to the trail!

Transfer 5 - Riders will transfer down the end of Mindbender trail (berm section).

Stage 5 - Lower River Run - a long stage to end the day! There are plenty of berms and tight switchbacks to be found on this stage. Pedal your heart out, you are almost done!

2018 IES Sun Valley Enduro SPORT is a 27 mile expert race route located near Ketchum Idaho. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 22 trails. This route climbs 6,050 ft with a max elevation of 9,000 ft then descends -6,918 ft.
