Stage 3 kicks off with a morning lift up the gondola at the Kicking Horse Bike Park, taking you high into the alpine for a start at the base of Cedar Bowl. Starting at the base of the “Stairway to Heaven” chairlift, you will climb up through the alpine bowl, then descending and climbing again on hand-built singletrack. From there it’s a long descent through Kicking Horse’s bike park all the way to the bottom on intermediate bike park trails, full of berms and optional jumps. You will continue to descend on the Scalli-Mag trail to connect into the CBT and Moonrakers trail networks. Here you will ride a selection of the best trails in these networks, before returning back up Scalli-Mag to finish at the base of Kicking Horse Resort. This 44km stage has approx. 1,350m of climbing but a huge 2,150m of descending thanks to the gondola assist at the start. It’s sure to please the downhill fans in the field.

The lower half of this is a very cool and unique trail that I highly recommend a ride down. Something you don’t get to a lot.

So good! Lots of creative berms. No gaps and nothing big if your just getting into the world of jump trails. Fun for the whole (intermediate) family!

The description describes the one perfectly. Be aware of some of the large rocks on the screen some of the trail - they could be trouble if you're being super speedy.
