Silver Star Bike Park is steeped in mountain bike history and some of the best trails you’ll find anywhere. The Trail Crew is the backbone of the resort and the dedication they have for building and buffing the trails is what has given them such a great reputation. Silver Star's existing 30+ km network has now been greatly expanded with the addition of the new 35+km Beowulf, which opened to great acclaim in the summer of 2017.

The Plan: You will wake up a short ride from the start line in Silver Star at local host accommodations. We’ll get underway at 8 AM with Stage 6. Once finished, kick back and relax on the mountain in preparation for the final banquet celebration

The Stage: Beowulf will be the starring attraction of Stage 6, where you will get to experience the trail in it’s entirety. After a double track roll out to spread out the field, you will be treated to 30km of flowing singletrack. The purpose-built xc trail, whether going up or down, has been built with an emphasis on maintaining flow. Bermed out corners and switchback after switchback after switchback are the norm here. After Beowulf a little bit more climbing will take you up the gentle upper slopes of the mountain to finish on the “Snake Pit” intermediate downhill trail, which snakes down a narrow drainage with multiple bridges across the creek. This will also be the timed descent portion of the stage. Finish a spectacular week of riding rolling into the Silver Star village.
