Start across the street from the guard shack on North Plateau going clockwise left down Cold Springs, drop down right to closed road on the connector and cross to Mountain Mist. Stay left then right through Sinks up to three benches, take a left on Goat up Goat Connector to the right on Mountain Mist and then left to climb up Sinks to bikers parking lot finish.

Detailed Description
2018 SORBA-Hsv TTT#3&7 - Long Course is a 6 mile expert race route located near Huntsville Alabama. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 8 trails. This route climbs 609 ft with a max elevation of 1,621 ft then descends -630 ft.

Trail Goat Trail
Tree down on trail. About a 3/4 mile from the south end of trail.

Not sure why this trail is a black diamond seemed extremely flat to me. I got on from sinks so maybe the beginning is harder

Yea, the southern half of Mountain Mist has a different character than the trail from sinks to the closed road. there's some tougher moves over rocks on the southern half that the northern half just doesn't have.

I apologize for the lack of specificity - I forgot that there are two Mountain Mist/Sinks intersections. The obstacle tree is on Mtn Mist, south of the southern Mist/Sinks intersection.
