Trail Hanger
Underated. Feels like classic Oregon singletrack, it's also rarely loose unlike most of bachelor as it's covered in trees.

If you really love tech you might like this. I found it a bit exhausting just braking the whole way down. Wouldn’t call the experience fun but fun to do maybe once a year. A big step up from any other single black at bachelor

Techy sand with tight turns, roots and big rocks. I liked how this trail was challenging and really gave you something to work on vs. a flow/jump trail. Mental workout as well!

Trail Blade Runner
A nice techy trail with sprinkled jumps! On a dry day it can be very sketchy and turn into a black!

This is one of the very worst downhill trails I have ever ridden in a bike park.

I am thankful I did not attempt this track on a dh bike. Lots of pedaling, quite a bit of uphills and long flat/gradually uphill traverses. Right switchbacks that’s are more properly found on hiking trails than biking (and I am not someone who specifically need big bermed out bike park corners everywhere).

If you’re a fan of lifted assisted xc, this is your trail.

If you’re on a bike with more than 100mm of travel both front and rear or enjoy having gravity assist you at a gravity assisted mountain bike park, this trail is not for you.

This trail is super sick. Not too technical but challenging and fun to find flow through the chunk which makes it fun. More of this mt bachelor

Trail Hot Dust
One of the best trails here! It’s pretty steep and has a few small gap drops. If you have the skill set definitely ride this trail, it’s definitely better than wayout.

Trail Rattlesnake
Super fun technical that not too hard but still makes you focus the whole time. Lots of little drops and a fun steep ravine. There’s a split about half way down that gives you the option for a double black line. But it feels just as hard as the rest of the trail!

Trail Hot Dust
My current favorite trial here, has 3 drops (one being only accessible from redline and rockfall) and a bit of tech. the drops aren’t too big, probably about 2.5’ with nice landings, however the bottom one doesn’t have a sign and it seems like it’s meant to be rolled.

Rode it today. The trail is a really fun tech trail but it is super blown out. Most of the switch backs are nothing but six inches of sand.

Trail Rockfall
It's kind of a bummer that they have written the trail description in present tense, when this trail is not near completion yet.

You can see parts of this trail being built as you go up the lift, and it looks like it will be epic once they finish it. They have flagged a line right down this one spine of gnarly lava rock, should be some good downhill tech. It also looks like they might be planning a massive step up close to the bottom of the trail (on the right side of the lift as you ride up).

Hope they finish soon.

Trail Hanger
Even though this is a "machine built" trail, it definitely feels a lot more like hand built single track than the Lava Flow alternative. This trail loses elevation faster than Lava Flow, so you don't get the annoying pedally sections, and it's a little tighter in the trees with a more natural, raw feel to it. It doesn't have the jumps that Lava Flow and Cone Run have, but it was a very fun trail. I would consider this an easier version of Rattlesnake.

Trail Rattlesnake
This is probably one of the most fun trails on Mt. Bachelor. It has reasonably steep pitches, though nothing you can't take with speed. It is more raw and natural, with fun footy-rocky sections between trees. There are a couple fun off-camber sections as well. Most corners are well supported berms, but there are a couple that are pretty tight if you are carrying speed. There are a few optional TTF's that are fun - a couple small technical drops, and small (10 foot gap) booter on the right hand side half way down. There is also a paved chute into a gully that is definitely steeper than it looks on camera. If you take it with speed you will G-out at the bottom, which is fine, but be prepared to hold your line. There's a mandatory 2 foot rock drop in the lower section - you could roll it, but why?
