The cool thing about this trail is that it's a one shot descent from some really great camping spots. The first 1.8 miles are double track - nothing memorable. Once the single track starts, it's super fun! All obstacles are rollable. Definitely not a black. If you want something a little more rowdy, descend cable trail and connect to this. Happy trails

I really liked this downhill. There are certainly a few rock features which challenge its blue rating.

Trail Moby
If riding from the Aspen Creek Trailhead up Aspen Creek trail Moby turns abruptly and steeply off to the right. It's for sure a fire road/double track for the first 1/3rd but then becomes and amazing hand built, viewshed heavy, single track trail until it's junction with what shows at East Copper 260 on Trailforks. Beyond that it turns into a moto like trail with some loose rocks and berms as it climbs up toward Mt Francis. You'll cross a cattle guard and then ride about another 1/2 mile before a T intersection with 9402C. I like this trail more as a climb then a descent and that's because I use it to loop with Aspen Creek 48. If you wanted an easier descent off of Mt Francis over Aspen Creek then Moby would be your best bet. As a climb you are going to have to suck it up on the first quarter of a mile or so as it's steep. I felt the investment was worth it versus climbing Copper Basin Road especially because of the trail build quality and views.

Trail Sparrow
This trail was much less fun than nearby Sierra Prieta and 9401J combo. The upper part feels very fire road like. Then lower down lightly ridden trail through kind of a neat creek area with some occasional tech sections but mostly too pedaly for what seems like it should be a descent off the ridge. Others may enjoy this over the fast and looseness of Sierra Prieta, but think making the distinction is important. There's an Arizona Republic Newspaper vending machine near the top with bullet holes all through it. Interesting commentary there. I might start use this trail as a climb instead of a descent for loop options with Sierra Prieta and 9401J.

Trail Moby
This is not a trail, it is just lame doubletrack.

This trail was VERY rocky. Lots of loose sharp rocks ranging from small gravel to softball size in the trail. There were multiple areas of the trail that were covered with these loose rocks making those particular areas much more difficult to navigate. I don't know that the rating needs to be moved to black diamond, but there are definite areas of more difficult obstacles than most intermediate trails I have ridden before.
