Super fun and easy trail unless you climb up from Montreat like a real mountain biker. If you do that bring tons of water and snacks

This should be changed to a forest road as it is not a trail.

This is a 2 lane highway, not a trail. Why is it listed?

Trailforks is for multiple activity types and portions of the MST run on roadways. Currently not all road ways are routable; only within proximity of activity areas. For this reason in the attempt to map the entire MST trail some roadways needed to be published. FYI MST has not been full mapped at this time on Trailforks but once west to east is done the content will be reviewed again.

very nice climb. I prefer to ride up the greenway instead on shuttling for kitsuma, the warm up helps to mitigate injuries. there is a beautiful overlook as well that takes my breath away every time I go up it, you can see all the way out to the the other side of Marion county.

Perfect conditions on 3/29/19. No major obstacles and perfect dirt. A few rhodo clippings up top that could mess with derailleurs but thankful to the trail gnomes for clipping them. go rip it!
